which ivy's...

Which ivies tend to place more emphasis on extra-curriculars, personal statement, the whole deal more than others?

I have strong teacher recs, extracurricular, and strong hook, but am lacking in marks and SATs (which I hope will increase by january to make a difference).

Say, a 1400…which ones could consider?

Brown, definitely (average SAT is 1390.) Cornell maybe also, but that’s just because it’s less selective than the rest of the Ivies.

whats your hook misscompetent?

volunteering (800 + hours) and music

Cornell is definately the easiest to get into. it accepted 63% early decision, and it has an SAT ave of lower than Brown’s. I know a kid who got caught cheating and it was on his high school record, not even straight a’s, got a 1350 on sat 1’s, terrible extra cirriculars, and he found out he got in on friday.
