Which kind of Engineering?

<p>I’m very interested in both chemical and environmental engineering. But I’ve only done competitions/research in chemistry. I haven’t done anything related to the environment. If I apply as environmental engineering major, will that count against me if all I’ve done is stuff related to chemical engineering? Do you need a lot of chemistry for environmental engineering?</p>

<p>I don’t think any undergrad schools actually admit based on your actual fit with your declared major. Most students wind up changing one way or another once they start taking classes.</p>
