Which Laptop case?

<p>What brand laptop case/sleeve and/or backpack do you kids recommend for a ten pound laptop? My dd thinks my selections are not cool enough. I want to ensure the investment is protected. Thanks.</p>

that pretty much covers “coolness” and protecting the investment, imho…</p>

<p>Get a cheap bag with sufficient protection. You’re best off it it looks like a fairly used backpack. Maybe a military-style sack will be good.</p>

<p>As long as reasonable care is given, most bags will be able to sufficiently protect a laptop from physical damage. However, the risk is in getting the laptop stolen.</p>

<p>I put my laptop in my backpack and load a few books with it. There is absolutely no indication that there’s a laptop in my back.</p>
