Which mailing service is fastest to send regular mail (ex: Transcript)?

I've had a community college transcript sent over 3 weeks ago via USPS regular mail service, but it still has not arrived at the university. I'm afraid USPS lost it; so I requested another transcript to send this upcoming monyday/tuesday.

I'm almost at the verge of driving to the university myself! It's extremely distressing to find USPS failed to deliver a mail when it only goes from one city within 2-3 (maybe 4 hours max) hours of driving. I've heard too many nightmare stories about regular mail being lost.

Which postal service is most reliable with quick arrival? USPS Priority? UPS? FEDEX?

Thank you!

Use Fedex Overnight; the tracking is better than USPS.

Are you sure you put on the correct postage amount?
Are you sure you put on the right address?
Was your handwriting legible?
Did you put on a return address?

If the answer to all these questions are "yes," then you did everything right.

It's possible the university misplaced your letter. I've been selling online for almost fifteen years and out of thousands of items sent, I've only had four items lost in the mail. But out of six universities I applied to, four of them misplaced/forgot about documents I sent--documents which I know arrived because I put delivery confirmation on each and every one of them.

Priority mail takes a maximum of 2 business days to arrive, I believe. Very reliable, I have used it often for boxes. You can get a flat-rate priority envelope for documents for $4.90. You can also put delivery confirmation on priority mail, BTW. It only costs $0.80 and lets you track your package online and see when it arrives--down to the minute.

@Naturally: I requested to the Community College to have it mailed the next day (via Rush request) and I called in to confirm it was sent by regular USPS mail. I filled out the transcript legibly and clearly so if it wasn't a problem on my end, it was the Community College's mistake.

I've sent the mail as USPS Priority mail so hopefully it'll arrive in 2-3 days!

Thank you!
