Which Major and Minor?

<p>I’ve been looking at applying to UMD for a while now and majoring in Criminal Justice, however, as I look more at their majors I’m wondering if a major in Government and Politics with a minor in CJ would be better?</p>

<p>I’m in love with the DC area, so the fact that UMD is so close adds huge bonus points in my book. I’m also looking at Belmont University and University of MN–Duluth in addition to UMD, but for International Business.</p>

<p>Just want to make sure you are aware that the Gov/Politics major at UMD is an LEP. CJ is obviously a great program. I am not sure if you can minor in Gov/Politics, if that was something you were thinking about doing if CJ was your major.</p>

<p>Do you have any interest in UMD’s business school?</p>

<p>I’ve looked into UMD’s business program, but not too in depth (Belmont is my top school for that right now).</p>

<p>Could you possibly explain a little about the Gov/Pol major being LEP? Aren’t the Business and CJ majors also LEP?</p>
