Neither major is easier “to get in to;” that is, no major at Princeton, save for WWS is selective. I can’t speak for the workload of either major, but from my vantage point as a humanities major, I’ve heard that both are on the more difficult side. I’m also reasonably sure that MOL majors have to (or perhaps get to?) spend their summer before senior year on campus doing research. Perhaps someone who knows the programs better could correct me.

Both are among the more difficult AB majors, but mol bio is arguably more competitive. Many of the students in mol bio are aiming for med school, and therefore (understandably!) a little obsessed with their GPA. You might find less stressed and perhaps friendlier fellow students in chem, but they are, I’m sure, equal in rigor.
