Besides English

history

history, no kidding. sometimes in phil classes, they know the reading is hard, so they’ll lighten it up a bit. but history can be pretty straight forward, so the reading just adds up. you may get articles and essays in philosophy, but you’ll have the read the whole damn textbook in history. it’s crazy. just crazy.

I would think that literature or english would have a lot of reading. History sounds like a safe bet too. As a future history major, I’m thoroughly excited about all that reading. Yeah, I’m a nerd. :)

has no one seriously answered classics?

I don’t know about other schools, but international studies is a ridiculous amount of reading where I’m at. 200+ page book readings and 50+ PDF file readings a week.

yeah, IR has a ton of reading. history, classics, enligsh, philosophy…anything in the humanities, really. but i think history, classics, and english are the big 3.

Any liberal arts major will have extensive reading.
