Hey CC, I know which colleges that I want to go to, but honestly at this point, I don’t know which schools are considered match/low-reach for me. If you guys would be willing to list down some schools that fit this range, that would be amazing! Thanks for the suggestions!
Ethnicity: Asian
10th-11th GPA: 3.78 UW, 4.25 W
10th GPA: 4.0 W
11th GPA: 4.5 W (upward trend i guess? lol)
ACT: 35C (34 E, 35 M, 36 R, 35 S)
SAT Subjects: 700 Bio E (going to retake)… ~Is it worth to take 2 SAT subject tests? Some colleges that I want to apply to say that they recommend it, but they don’t mention that they recommend it for my possible majors, such as biology or business~
AP’s: AP Human geo, AP Calc AB, APUSH, AP Bio, APES, AP Comp Sci, AP US Gov
HS Rank: Top 9% (my school doesn’t let us know what specific rank we’re in, so it’s either you’re in the top 9% of your grade or you’re not)
I also took one CC course, Intro to Bus, and got an A
E.C’s:
-President of Key Club, GenerationOn, and a Stock & Investment Club (all school clubs)
-HS soccer for 2 years (placed 1st in league) and competitive club soccer for 3 years.
-HS track for 1 year
-HS band for 2 years
-NHS member for 3 years
-Coached elementary/middle-school kids soccer at a Korean-American soccer organization in a local city for 3-4 years.
-Internship at an import/export company for one summer.
-Worked as a regular employee at a web designing company with an average income (not minimum wage). I got recruited to web design for their company for 2 summers, since I couldn’t work during the school year. Although I have some interest and ability in computer graphic designs, I don’t wish to pursue this as a possible major of mine in college.
-Raised a collection drive for a non-profit organization (New Eyes) and collected hundreds of glasses during this summer, and looking forward to continue this project for a couple of more months into my senior year.
-Started an online company with a couple of my friends. It’s not finished yet, so we’re not sure if our business is going to be open to the public before application deadlines.
