Which of my majors does not require math?

Math is not my forte and I’d like to choose a major that doesn’t require a math course.
I’ve been considering Psychology, Journalism, Theatre, Constitutional Law, or Political Science.
Your help is much appreciated.

It depends on the college, but at my school, every student is required to at least take a basic math class, no matter the major.

Also, psychology, political science, and journalism will most likely require a statistics class, but you’d need to check the specific college’s requirements.

theatre. statistics is a req for pretty much every major but those in fine arts. the reasoning being that is important for all graduates to understand the meaning and significance of statistics in literature relating to their field.

generally speakings, none of those require math that isn’t part of GE anyways

Depends on the school.

Those majors are really all over the place. Go with what you want to do. If you just choose based on which requires math, you’ll probably regret it down the line. A math class isn’t going to kill you.

Political Science usually requires an advanced econ class or two and those may have math requirements, so keep that in mind.

This.
…

Don’t avoid mathematics courses. An elementary understanding of statistics and calculus is not only beneficial for your intellectual development, but also for understanding some of the basic tenets and ideas of some of the potential majors you listed. It’s not as if we recommend going all out and take differential equations and real analysis; two simple courses in statistics and calculus would do wonders by themselves.

Oh cmon, math is fun :O. A couple classes can’t be all that bad.

There’s nothing difficult about doing basic statistics.
