Which of the follwing should I consider:

<p>Okay, I am a very very very school-activity-active student. Plenty of student groups and sports to mention and a high community-involvement program. Freshman and Sophomore my GPA was 3.5 and 3.75, this year (Junior year) I have a 4.025. All four years I have scheduled Honors and/or AP classes and have always had a full schedule. I am also in chorus, band, drama, and more…</p>

<p>I’m a female who loves math, physics, engineering, art and all that… so Architectural Engineering is my field.</p>

<p>Some of my possible choices include:</p>

<p>Ball State University
Clemson University
Columbia University
Ohio State
University of Cincinnati
University of Kentucky
Washington University in St. Louis</p>

<p>Though I don’t really want to go to UC… it’s only on there to appease my mom who wants me to live at home and go to college.</p>

<p>Are these good possibilities for me to go into? Could you recommend some others? I promised my mom I wouldn’t go too terribly far away.</p>

<p>If you like big public schools, and it seems that you do, Purdue and Illinois are a couple of great engineering schools and not too far away.</p>

<p>Purdue does not offer Architectural Engineering, only Civil.</p>

<p>Looks good to me…nice mix of relatively safe choices (Ball State, U of C), matches (Ohio State), and reaches (Columbia and WUSTL).</p>

<p>I believe Penn State also has (or used to have) a highly-regarded Architectural Engineering program.</p>

<p>If you are a very involved students and a plausible candidate for Columbia and WUSTL, you shouldn’t be going to UC and commuting from home.</p>
