Hi, I’ve made two essays elaborating briefly on my ECs, there is one flowery essay about why Perfumery is a type of art, and another about a great school event (it was like a great fair) i conducted in which even the TV came.
Which one should I choose, considering I’m applying to Columbia and Brown?
The perfumery one sounds interesting, and it could highlight a different aspect of you that isn’t in the rest of your app. But if the event you conducted was meaningful and you don’t think it was elaborated on enough in your Activities section, that would be fine, too. The fact that you’re applying to Brown and Columbia doesn’t make one topic better than the other.
