There is a lot of computer science and cyber security at ERAU. It is fun when rockets go off, and they really do go off all the time. It is also fun to see people you know on the NASA channel for launches because they are interning for SpaceX.
Daytona beach has a lot more going on in the area than many of the others you named, even if the school itself is smaller. There are all the events at the racetrack, all the space related stuff, Orlando, the beach. It’s very easy to get to. There are a ton of places to do internships or co-ops because all the major aerospace companies have offices up and down the Space Coast. NASA is there, Northrup, SpaceX but also little companies you’ve never heard of that may make a piece necessary for a launch. Sometimes they let the students use their maker space too.
There are concerts and events in Orlando, Miami, Fort Lauderdale. You can get to Tampa in about 2 hours (if you can get through Orlando traffic).
