i’m not American so I don’t know, but which building/photo is the most recognizable and representative building in Princeton, at least to the general public? I’m just guessing it’s between Nassau Hall and Blair Hall / arch. which one best represents and evokes Princeton? I’m putting something together for a project, hahah

I would use Nassau Hall since it’s home to the president’s office. As such, it’s a symbol of Princeton’s administration. It was also used as the US Capitol back in 1783. That said, Blair Arch is more representative of the rest of the University’s architecture.

Thanks Weasel! I’m also leaning towards Nassau, but i’m not sure if it’s recognizable. if you had to show a random person on the street a picture of a building that he/she would instantly recognize as Princeton, which would you choose?

Most people wouldn’t recognize either one, but I think Nassau Hall is slightly more recognizable.

I definitely wouldn’t have recognized either one before visiting the school, and I don’t think anybody I know would either. I agree that Nassau seems more representative, though.
