about MIT creative essay.
I wrote one about my science project which was a pretty good project and I have mailed supplement material introducing it. But the essay wasn’t very unique.

The other is about my idea of nuclear power. Pure idea with zero real work done. But I did put some novel thoughts in it and it’s original.

If it were between a purely creative essay and a purely personal essay, I’d go for the personal one. While the original one might show your creativity, obviously, I think it’s more important to show MIT your other personal qualities as well.

It seems that both of yours are relating to science, though - doesn’t it ask about something you’ve worked on? The nuclear power idea might fit better in the additional info section; I’d go with the more tangible experience.

The essay is where you can use your own voice, so why waste it for another thing which has less emotion and has been mentioned already in other places?
