At my school, you can take AP Language and Composition and AP US History.

Two teachers teach a “team” course, where they work together and the classes relate to each other. This class is very difficult, and only 5% of their students got As. Around 15% got Bs, around 45% Cs, and the rest failed.

The other two teachers teach the course completely separate from each other. While it’s not a free A, it is significantly easier to earn. (Think 30-40%.)

But the thing is, the team course is supposedly a life changing experience that will make college classes look like cake, while the two independent AP courses are just the standard APs.

Standard APs. APs should prepare you at least a little bit for college anyway (unless you have completely FAIL teachers, but it doesn’t seem like they are horrible).

If I were you, I would take the life changing experience.

I switched to a reputably harder teacher after a few weeks with an easy teacher and it’s definitely more fulfilling. No busywork and I actually learn stuff through the homework. I never study for the tests because her class/homework prepares me so well. This is for AP Euro btw.

Good teachers aren’t always THAT great, but they’re often worth taking a class with. Just go with the “team”. I’m sure it’s not that hard to get an A anyway.
