These are all the items I’m thinking of getting:
Barron’s SAT Math Workbook, 5th Edition ($11.63)
The Merriam-Webster Dictionary ($6.12)
PWN the SAT: Math Guide ($26.76)
The Official SAT Study Guide, 2nd Edition ($11.98)
Casio Advanced Scientific Calculator, (FX-115ES) ($14.99)
Direct Hits Core Vocabulary of the SAT 5th Edition ($13.57)

I SUCK at math if you’re wondering why I’m getting so many math books.

All of that adds up to $85.05…anything I should leave out/add in? I really want to reduce the total price for everything x(

Dictionary is really not necessary…especially if you’re gonna buy Direct Hits.

My teacher told me to get one to look up words I hear but don’t know the meaning of

I would advise you to buy Insider’s Complete Guide: The Insider’s 500 Words, or something along the lines. I only suggest this because it’s the newer version of Direct Hits, and a lot of people have experienced its benefits.

Try to buy a solution manual for the Official SAT Prep Guide. Testmaster’s Complete Solutions or Tutor Ted’s Solutions shall do it. It provides complete explanations for all answers.

That’s why there’s dictionary.com, and that doesn’t cost $6.12

Aren’t there videos on how to solve them from Khan Academy?

buying from collegeboard itself is good

I’m in the same boat as you and have been looking for resources as well. I’d leave out the dictionary and replace the Direct Hits book with the Essentials 500 book. Everything else is fine.
