I’m a current freshman who wants to apply to prep/boarding schools my junior year. I took the most rigorous courses my school offers this year. I’m a URM, I’m Somali…if that helps. Based on my stats which schools do you think are good fits for me?

I will also be attending a leadership summer seminar at a local university.

Anyone???

all right, I’m not going to suggest any schools here since you should be the one doing your homework and search for schools that YOU like. You should have a few top choices, a few moderate, and a few safeties. You have a pretty good chance I’d say, but your school grades and standardized test scores are quite different, so that made me a little concerned. But i think you really have a chance to stand out. I applied for my junior year this year, and I got into 2 schools, and will head to Deerfield Academy next year. So it’s not really that hard to get in as a junior. GOOD LUCK!!! :)

I’ve been doing lots of research on schools, but I really wanted to know what the “more-experienced” people on here thought. And congratulations on getting in!!! I hope you like it! thanks for the info.
