<p>Hi! So I’m new to collegeconfidential here, so sorry if there’s a similar thread, but I had a few questions.</p>
<p>I’m having trouble deciding what major to apply for (I’m currently at a community college). I really want to do the Critical Studies in Film, but I’m afraid they won’t accept me then. My second choice would be English. Can anyone tell me the chances of getting into those two? I’m currently in my second semester and I have a 3.65 GPA. I’m also a minority and I was born with a chronic illness, in case either of those might make me stand out. And what GPA should I be shooting for?</p>
