In June, when my teacher discussed the Common App prompts, she included one that said “Discuss the effect a certain person had on your life” or something like that. During the first two years of high school I played ice hockey and was the only girl on my high school’s ice hockey team. I had a great idea about writing about my first day and how the only boy in my grade turned out to be really rude to me, and how i learned to be independent. Unfortunately the prompt i based it on is not in this years common app! Could this be used for another prompt?
It can be for this: 2. The lessons we take from failure can be fundamental to later success. Recount an incident or time when you experienced failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?
