Which SA gets the most applicants

<p>Just curious to know, if anybody knows which SA gets the most applicants</p>

<p>It varies from year to year, as you can imagine, but IIRC (and I’m sure someone with the statistics will be along shortly to verify this) USNA gets the most because it offers the most opportunities after graduation.</p>

<p>Think about it, people who want to be sailors, submariners, pilots, co-pilots, soldiers, special forces, doctors, and engineers can ALL apply to USNA and have a decent shot at doing what they want to do.</p>

<p>Class of 2010 applicants:</p>

<p>Naval Academy: 10,747</p>

<p>West Point (Woops): 10,276</p>

<p>Air Force Academy (Zoomies): 9,601 (Class of 2009)</p>

<p>The number of applicants dropped from the Class fo 2009 to 2010. For example, USNA had 11,259 applicants for the Class of 2009.</p>
