Which SAT/ACT Scores Should I Submit?

Some of the schools I’m applying to (i.e. Stanford) require that all SAT scores be sent; however, for schools that “strongly recommend” that students send all scores or give no preference, which ones should I send?

For the OLD SAT -
May 2015 - 520 R 530 M 610 W (1660) -
November 2015 - 640 R 600 M 570 W (1810)
January 2016 - 620 R 670 M 650 W (1940)

Overall superscore - 1960

My “prep” for these tests was just signing up for more tests. I didn’t really care what I got because (at the time) I was above the average for the state schools I was shooting for.

For the NEW SAT -
June 2016 - 1400 - 620 R 780 M
October - 800 Math II and 800 Chemistry
November - 750 R and 760 M

Overall superscore - 1530 (780 M and 750 R) with 800s on Chem and MII

I would like to send all scores to colleges in order to show an upward trend; however, for the lack of a better word, my old SATs were boo boo.

I also scored a 33 on the ACT, but apparently my 1530 is a 34 on the concordance table so idk if I should submit that either?? Thanks

I’m going into STEM btw, so it would look terrible if I showed them that I once got a 530 on the math portion of the sat lol

Send the one from June and the one from November and the Subject Tests from October unless the school recommends or requires all scores be sent, then send them all. When colleges say they like to see an upward trend they mean an improvement in grades, and trust me they would rather have someone that was always a 3.9+ student than someone who slacked off Freshman and Sophomore year then got their act together Junior year. An upward trend just minimizes the damage.

In the case of test scores, why would they want to see an upward trend when you can just show them that you have a 1530???
