<p>Took the PSAT in fall 2007 as a junior. Scored well enough to be in running for NM semi-finalist. Have not yet taken the SAT.</p>
<p>Question: Does it matter which SAT date you choose in terms of being considered for NM finalist? Can you take the SAT more than once and have only your best score considered for NM finalist? My concern is whether to take it in June 2008 and then be able to take again later if necessary to bring up score for NM finalist consideration. If the June score isn’t “good enough,” will that be the only shot at it that matters, or do they look at your best score?</p>
