Which SAT Prep Book do you recommend?

Yesterday, I bought the Princeton Review’s Cracking the SAT 2012 Edition because a) a few of my friends told me that the PR’s book was pretty thorough and b) I skimmed through it and I thought the writers seemed pretty knowledgeable of the SAT.

However, I was hesitant to purchase the PR’s edition because I have many friends who have used the College Board’s Official Guide to the SAT. I don’t think it’s necessary for me to own both versions…

Based on your experience or that of a friend’s, which SAT prep book is most effective in raising a low score?

I want to raise both my math and writing score by a lot and increase my critical reading score if possible. My understanding of fundamental math skills is pretty low (I have always struggled in this area), so which SAT prep book best suits my needs for a higher math score?

May: 1800 (CR 690, Math 560, Writing 550)
June: 1760 (CR 660, Math 500, Writing 600)

Thanks.
