Hi! I’m a international student and plan to transfer from cc to NYU or Ivy if possible, so I’m thinking which school I will go to. I know RCC is in NY and Foothill is in CA, but I’m interested in transfer. RCC has Honors program and participants of honors program transferred to great four-year university like Ivy and Tier 1. On the other hand, Foothill has high transfer rate and also honors program. My dream is to transfer to NYU or Ivy. I know it is too hard, but which school is better for me?
Thank you
I don’t know much about Foothill, but RCC has a great honors program known for churning out students matriculating into ivy league schools. They also have a guaranteed transfer program with Cornell that you may be interested in, but it only applies to certain majors (mostly College of agriculture and Life Sciences majors, including Biological/ Environmental Engineering).

There are other majors listed, like Applied Economics and Management or Biological Sciences, that will be seen as competitive applications to admissions if you meet the criteria of the agreement, but it isn’t guaranteed.
Honestly, as long as you are focused in your studies, transferring isn’t a problem at RCC.
Hope this helps:)
My parents actually went to RCC before transferring to NYU, so iis a pretty good option to think about with the goals you have in mind
