okay, so my choices are case western, rutgers, illinois and georgia tech and I want to major in business. illinois and georgia tech are ranked higher for business, but case itself seems to be a stronger school. plus, i like private institutions. rutgers i’ll probably just ignore because i got into those other schools. should i go with the rankings or what? case’s business school isn’t even on the ranking list. thanks.

Go to which ever one suits you best. Go visit them.

Illinois’ business school is extremely hard to get into. The valedictorian at my school last year ended up at Stanford, after being rejected from the UofI business school (accepted at the university but not the business school).

So, I would recommend that you go to UofI, solely based on the fact that you want to go to a good business school, but you should also consider how well you like them.

My friend went to Case Western, and swears it was the worse place ever.
Rutgers will get you closer to NY-area internships and such, but UIllinois definitely sports the best business school.
