Which school should I go to?

I have the choice between going to either an IB World School or my public high school. I know all of you are going to say the IB World School, but let me explain the pros and cons.
First, at the IB World School ALL of the classes (8) in 9th and 10 th grade are Honors. ALL of the classes (8) in 11th and 12th grade are IB, so I would be up to about 5-6 hours a night in homework. The subjects also seem

too broad, i.e.: Honors Math, IB Math HL or SL, IB History HL or SL […instead of Algebra II, Geometry, Calculus, European History, etc.]. They also don’t have very many course selection, in fact everyone always has the same electives as each other because you have to take them. The pretty much only thing that you get to choose is whether or not you take band, orchestra, fine arts, or performing arts; you have to choose one. You also get to choose which language you take. Lastly, you take Biology, Chemistry, and Physics like 2 or 3 times. Only 125 9th graders are admitted each year, I would probably have to leave all of my friends. Because this school does not offer any sports other than basketball, I would have to join sports at my public high school.
At my public school you can choose which level you take your courses on, me being the over-achiever that I am would take the most rigorous course load available. It also offers 14 APs. They also have a lot more clubs, extracurriculars, and sports. Along with that they have classes geared to what I want to do after high school like: AP Bio, AP Chem, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Medical English 11 and 12, and Medical Careers 1, 2, and 3. This school does not give a lot of homework. They have a lot of courses and are not called broad terms like “Math” or “History.” The name, I know, doesn’t matter, but colleges will see that and probably think it is some remedial integrated course or something. I would not have to leave my friends. I could also choose my electives. It also has a lot of courses for a lot of different career paths.

I don’t know much about the IB World School (that is not the name of it), but I am really torn. It should seem like a no-branier, go to the IB World School, but for me it’s not.

Which will colleges like better? How much will it boost my admission chances? WHICH SHOULD I GO TO?!?!?

Where do you see yourself? Number one, admissions will see that it’s ib ‘math’ and know that it’s the same level as ab calculus, they’re pretty well educated. If you can’t see yourself at the ‘factory line’ ib school, then don’t go there. But if you feel like you can find and be yourself better at the high school then go there. Academics matter, but knowing who you are is a lot more important, even more important than college. You have to k ow yoursellf and what you want before you can go to college, and if you can be yourself better at the high school go there.

it sounds like there are a lot of social, academic, and extracurricular opportunities in your public high school. why not go there?
