Saint Mary’s College- Notre Dame($6,000 out of pocket + loans)

How many loans would you have to take out for each school? Is your family able to pay $9,000 out of pocket vs. $6,000?
Have you visited each school and did you feel a better “fit” at one vs. the others?
Also couple of notes:
-I wouldn’t call East Lansing a particularly “dangerous” city!! Lansing isn’t the nicest city in Michigan, but you can easily go to MSU for four years without stepping foot near the capital if you so choose.
-If “academics” is a pro for GVSU, it should be a pro for MSU, too, because MSU’s academics are better than GVSU’s imo
In the end, though, it seems based on your list that you’re leaning toward GVSU, so, if the cost is manageable, that’s what I’d choose.
