which schools accept 3.0?? ( engineering )

Hey. Im looking for some schools with a big name but I got a low GPA like 3.0.Major in electrical/computer engineering. Please help.

Every schools accept 3.0 (that is their minimum requirement), so you should be fine.

Not true. Some of the best schools will want a 3.25 or better to even be considered as an MS.

can you give me the names of those schools, and perhaps hyperlink to your source?

Not all schools even have a GPA requirement. Stanford EE doesn’t, for example, but GT wants a 3.25 for MS and 3.5 for PhD to be considered.

I have a friend at GT ECE that had told me they require a 3.0 for their graduate programs. Could you cite your source?

For Georgia Tech, see the link below:
[Applications and Admissions](http://www.ece.gatech.edu/academics/graduate/apply.html#admissions)

Under the admission requirements for the master’s program, a minimum GPA of 3.25 is stated.

Oh I see. So OP, I guess you are good to go for Stanford, but probably not eligible to apply for GT.
