I’m a junior in high school with a 3.8 unweighted gpa, 4.38 weighted gpa and a 2220 on the SAT. I’ll hopefully get all 5’s on my AP’s this year (APUSH, AP environmental science, AP english language arts and AP bio) and I got a 4 on my AP euro test. I’m in 3 school bands, and will be for all four years of high school. I will be the drum major of the marching band for 2 years. I have well over 400 hours of community service and plan to do more this summer. I am interested in politics and hope to be selected for Boys’ State this year as well as volunteer on a Congressional race this summer. I am looking at some Ivy league schools (Yale, Brown, Penn) and some other schools of that caliber (Stanford, UC Berkeley, Pomona). Any suggestions as to my chance or other schools that would be good for me?

With your stats and ECs, I’d say of the schools you listed all are reasonable apps and would discourage none of them but, with the exception of Cal, they are reaches. You may want to focus on top 30 universities and top 20 LACs a bit less challenging admissions wise. Can’t make specific suggestion without knowing more about what you’re looking for in terms of location, major, career interests. Presume you’re from the West Coast given listed schools.

I am looking for majors in politics or business if that helps

For business, uPenn and UMichigan are the best choices.
