Is Google down today? If you want more specific info that can’t be found in Google, additional information, including stats and budget, might elicit more tailored responses
The snark lobe is on overtime today.
As for the original question, it’s not as easy as it might seem. There are two paths into architecture, either BS/MArch or a 5 year BArch. There are a lot of good Architecture programs, but you can’t practice without then getting a MArch. they don’t always make this clear in their marketing.
You can keep your google and your attitude.
There are people who understand from the view of a parent and answer better
There’s not a lot that folks can do here with limited input like “good architecture schools?”.
The four most helpful things you can post would be 1) your budget; 2) your home state; 3) the student’s GPA / course rigor, and standardized test scores, if available; 4) any other relevant aspects to the search (e.g. only urban schools; only schools of a certain size; the importance of accreditation out of undergrad; etc.)
You’ll see from the list @merc81 posted that there are a wide range of schools. The more work you can do up front, the more useful the responses here will be in giving more tailored recommendations.
I agree about the snark, but not sure I agree about the view of a parent. IMO the view of kids who have themselves gone through architecture programs and are now out in the real world working as architects (or not!) are far more valuable.
YMMV.
Is this for the same daughter who’s looking to study medicine?
Tagging @momrath whom can give you some good suggestions.
It also might be helpful to search in the “match me” forum for posts mentioning “architecture”. Here’s a shortcut to that search: Search results for 'architecture #what-are-my-chances' - College Confidential Forums
Here’s an example result (note that additional info up front helps guide the responses): Chance/Match me: TX resident, 3.85 GPA, 30 ACT, top 35% rank, for Cornell ED & top architecture universities, <$25k
