Which schools are looking to be in my range?

Hello, I’m currently a high school junior and I’m looking at several schools at this time. Obviously it is a dream to make it to the best schools in the nation, but I want to be realistic at the same time and see what general range I’m in from people who have been there, outside of just researching statistics.

Here is a bit about myself:
GPA - 3.89 (unweighted) - I received 2 Bs in my sophomore year
My school does not calculate class rank.
Extra Curriculars -
Orchestra (concertmaster, treasurer)
Violin Lessons (11 years as of now)
String Quartet (3 years; we play at various events, weddings, etc…)
Sound Crew (musical tech, etc…)
Masterminds
Yearbook (editor, senior year)
Varsity Track manager
Varsity Cross country manager
Model UN (co-president)
Junior (Senior) Class officer (elected officials who are in charge of fundraising, events, etc… for the grade)
Film projects for contests

(I know you may say I do a lot of ECs but I truly enjoy doing everything I do, and they do not strongly impact other aspects of my life.)

I often volunteer for various events connected through my school, and additionally with my local orchestra.

Not sure if it matters for anything, but to pursue my interest in the Chinese language (as you’ll see below), I took an exchange-esque trip to China last summer with my local university.

I haven’t taken the SAT yet but without preparation got a 201 on my PSAT taken my Junior year. I plan to get at least above a 2100, but I’m hoping for a 2200. I also plan on taking some SAT Subject Tests in the fall.

I am an IB Diploma candidate. By the end of my senior year, I will have taken the following college-level courses:
AP World History (5), AP Lit and Comp (4), AP US History, AP Calculus, IB World Literature HL, IB Chinese, IB Math Studies, IB Biology HL, IB Film HL, IB History of the Americas HL

Thank you so much for your observations. I’m looking forward to the responses.

Four questions that need answers:

What’s your budget?

Do you want a small or a large campus?

What major(s) do you intend to pursue in college?

What area do you want to attend college in?

Thank you so much for responding. I don’t want to close off any options by limiting myself to a budget, at least right now. I know to be realistic I will eventually have to, but I just want to get an idea of what type of school I could potentially get into.

I would prefer a small-medium campus. I would hate it if my school had 30,000+ undergrads. So anything from maybe the 2,000-10,000 range, give or take 5,000 on the upper end. I’m not entirely sure what I want to do yet. I’m leaning generally towards the liberal arts - social sciences and the like. I also have an interest in urban planning that I’m not sure if I want to pursue. In regards to attending college, I’d like to be in/very close to a city somewhere in the Northeast, as far south as Washington (maybe a bit farther south if it’s the right school). In regards to west, I’m not sure if I want to go as far as California. Maybe Chicago or a bit farther west would be my limit in regards to that.

Thanks again.

If somebody could help me out a bit, that would be great!
