Are you a Virginia resident?

Not sure that matters much. UVA meets need for OOS students as well (unless that has changed recently). Duke also supposedly meets need.

^^^ Yeah, but if your tuition at UVA or W&M is only $8,000, the issue of aid at Duke and Wash U may be moot.

Regardless, here are the ratings of financial aid on a 60-99 scale by students at the four schools, as compiled by Princeton Review:

Wash U 99
Duke 95
UVA 94
W&M 81

W&M may be a concern if you’re OOS but not so much if you’re a VA resident.

I’m a Virginia resident, by the way!
