Am I realistic in considering these schools?

Are there others that I should be considering?

Thanks!

Do your best with your Cal application. Though your chances there are small, their Econ is fantastic, so if you get accepted, you're one lucky guy. Chicago would also be awesome too.

Northwestern
Duke
Rice
UCLA
USC

RML, note that the OP is a transfer applicant.

I'd say he has virtually NO chance at any of the UCs. They are notoriously difficult to transfer into except from a CCC, and as an OOS applicant the OP has a better chance at getting into Yale.

But he has a 4.0 and Berkeley loves high GPA. i think his SATs would not count anymore.
i also think Berkeley L&S accepts 1 or 2 transfer applicants from OOS every once in a year.
and, yes, based on stats, it would appear that Yale would be "friendlier" for OOS transfers than Berkeley.
