Which schools have the best debate teams?

Which law schools?

Law schools generally don’t have debate teams. There are other opportunities for oral argument, such as in moot court, but those are completely in legal settings, and generally subject to the rules of court and the rules of evidence.

I note from another post that you’ve just been accepted to college. Are you talking about college debate teams? And, if so, which kind of debate?

yes college (undergraduate) , policy debate
sorry for the confusion

This should at least help you have an idea.

Be careful using the list of colleges on the site linked above.

A lot of the top schools only do parliamentary debate, not policy, at least on a regular basis. Yet, this debate organization lists them as members. If you go to the list of debaters under the school, you will find a couple of names. Click on their records and you’ll find 0 debates 0 wins 0 losses. I was stunned when I saw a couple of colleges listed, as I have personal knowledge that at least officially these schools haven’t had policy teams in at least 10 years. Maybe some students entered a policy tournament “just for fun,” but if so, it wasn’t funded by the university. There isn’t an official policy debate team funded by the university.
