Which schools send you the most mail?

if they send you alot of stuff does that mean they want you and youll prob be accepted

In a short answer–no., the amount of mail indicates nothing. they want your money and some build prestige by rejecting most of those who fall for the advertising. You’ll get a better idea by looking at the SAT ranges for the particular school and seeing where you fit in.

My question two pages back wanted to know if the PSAT scores played a role and the answer is yes.

Definitely an East Coast thing - Bucknell
and then Pratt

COLBY COLLEGE

S, receives daily mail from Davidson.

You know, I’ve already replied to this and my response still holds true, but wow, a revision truly is necessary. RIT really does not need to send me things literally nearly every single day. I want to major in English; does that jive with INSTITUTE of TECHNOLOGY? No, nope, it does not.

NYU and Case Western. NYU’s useless picture book, ā€œA Day in the Lifeā€¦ā€ wins the pointless deforestaion award.

Just an FYI,

UC Davis isn’t a lower tier UC. It is a first tier university (top 50 nationally) consistently according to US NEWS(even with the reporting error this year), and other sources rank us in the top 20 (#17- link below) right below Harvard.

http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/features/2005/0509.collegeguide.html?tr=y&auid=1058971

P.S. It is difficult to be ranked a low tier UC when you have several #1 ranked programs and arguably the BEST biology department in the country.

Alumni include the current treasurer of United States (signature on every dollar bill), a Secretary of Agriculture(during W. Bush’s administration) and a couple current congressmen.

I get so much mail that I’ve started looking at the envelopes and dumping the ones I know I don’t want straight into the garbage. As far as the most mail, that would definitely have to be Washington University in St. Louis. I also get quite a bit of mail from smaller schools that I’ve never heard of before… If only I could get mail from the schools I’m actually interested in. :)

this one tops it all. i live in the KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA and wustl have mailed me. and mt. holyke, colorado college and american university.

I live in Malaysia and Colgate has send me around 15 mails to date… yes… that many

I’ve gotten about 40 emails from Tulane this past month, they keep telling me I forgot to apply…

NYU keeps harassing me.
So does Wake Forest, they keep sending me applications every other week, but the funny part is I already got in ED.

I have a special stack of 37 packages from NYU. They don’t count as letters- they’re freeking novels.

The WORST are the Emails. It seems that every day I forgot to apply to Tulane, Christopher Newport, Hofstra, Dowling, and the University of Maine. Emory once in a while too.

I get the NYU novels as well… I must have $100 or more worth of NYU paraphanalia

OMG NYU IS HARASSING ME!!
Get over it. Some people would like to have a school as good as NYU harassing them ( I get ā€œharrasedā€ as well)

Meanwhile, I get a whole bunch of ā€œGolden Knight Rulesā€ that really do annoy me. That university really harrases me.

Have gotten at least 3 from each school concerning academics, recruitment, or both
1.USMA(lacrosse, academics) get one almost every day
2.Dartmouth(lacrosse)
3.VMI(lacrosse)
4.Brown(academics)
5.Virginia University(lacrosse)
6.Yale(lacrosse, academics)
7.North Carolina University(lacrosse, academics)
8.Penn(lacrosse,academics)
9.Coast Guard Academy(lacrosse,academics)
10Emory(academics)

Ursinus!! at one point they were sending me posters every day, along with 2 applications and letters addressed to my parents saying that I had"demonstrated interest in them." It was ridiculous

colgate has been sending me mail to the point that im feeling spammed. hobart and william smith keep sending me stuff, mostly postcards… same can be said for lehigh and kenyon.

but then again, i was stupid enough to show interest in all those colleges at one point or another… so i guess they’re excused.

Anyone get this in their emails a lot?:

Opportunity Knox! Get it? Because it’s Knox college! I am lauqhing so hard! HAHAHAHAHAHA!

BTW, is it just me or do all the college emails look the same? Does some large company handle it all?
