Which schools send you the most mail?

D has received a lot of mail from Washington University in St. Louis, how they found her over here in a far flung corner of Asia is a mystery. She has no intention of applying.

Lately I’ve been getting a lot of mail from Angelo State University… I find it funny how they like to use the initials of ASU inside their mailers since most people generally think of ASU as another school… and another thing, I still don’t even know where the Angelo State University is cuz I’ve thrown most of their mailers in the garbage.

Tulane has been sending me insane amounts of mail since Sophomore year. And Case Western Reserve University recently sent me a letter/brochure/e-mail a day for nearly a month. I don’t plan on applying to either school…

Minnesota Schools (Minnesota State, Minnesota-Morris, Minnesota-Twin Cities) Several mailing since sophomore year

Case Western Reserve has now overtaken Wash U in the mailings department. DD gets at LEAST one mailing from them per week. Our favorite (a coincidence by the way) was a letter from a high school classmate of MINE (she is a prominent figure in public broadcasting). But there are postcards, letters, viewbooks, pictures…you name it, it has come here.

I think NJIT (new jersey institute of technology, probably, tho i’ve never actually bothered to look) has absolutely amazed me by their persistance in the email department… they managed to send me an email on christmas day! come on now. i’m also averaging at least an email a day from them…

Grinnell, University of Evansville, WUSTL, Edgewood, Columbia for a while, which is pretty funny since I would NEVER have a chance there. I think they only started sending me stuff because of my really high PLAN and PSAT scores.

In general, my college mail is finally down to about two pieces a day. Most colleges have finally given up! At one time I was getting 7-10 pieces a day. Crazy! Oh well, I now have sufficient material for a giant bonfire in my backyard.

I say, Washinton University in St. Louis. And I’m not applying there.

And… some other universities/colleges that I would never apply to.
I got applications/letters/postcards from Yale, Princeton and Harvard… but the thing is, I’m not applying to Yale and Princeton.(only Harvard:p)

I have no idea why they sent me those. My SAT/PSAT weren’t goot at all. I would say, at most, mediocre…

omggg WUSTL for sure! I got so many things from them… id probably say 2 or 3 things every two weeks. I just cracked and decided to apply there… lol

i’ve been getting a ton of e-mails from tulane recently. they won’t leave me alone argghhh. the college snail mail stuff has been slowing down recently, thank goodness, although mount holyoke hasn’t given up yet…

I’ve gotten alot from tulane recently… so much in fact that I took the 5 minutes to apply(special application thingy w/o essay or fee) Hopefully they will leave me be now.

Ohio Wesleyan

Hartwick College – IN SOPHOMORE YEAR!
… huge margin…
Albany College of Pharmacy
Kenyon
Tulane
Mount Holyoke

Colgate, Carlton, Emory & WUSTL

WUSTL sends me a ridiculous amount of mail… mostly useless

washu and u chicago

Some place called New College of Florida. I get a letter from them every week, without fail.

Wash U StL
Pitt
Chicago

WUSTL (they must kill so many trees)

University of Evansville

Boston University

Indiana University

University of Minnesota

Sent from my X500 using CC

Back when I got college mail alllll the time…
WUSTL and New College of Florida send the most. Without question.
New College actually thanked me for applying… when I hadn’t.

Besides those two, Columbia used to send me a TON of stuff, as well as the University of Kentucky. Tulane did too, but that worked and wasn’t annoying because it got me to apply and seriously consider attending (ended up being my second choice). Swarthmore, Simmons, BU… Oh! And Kettering, which was funny because I’ve never heard of the school but it’s the name of one of my favorite songs.

Clemson

Rutgers

Duke

Only one thing from Duke though…and I live in NJ so getting a lot of stuff from Clemson is somewhat odd
