<li>Liberty, which is what I get for putting ā€œChristianā€ as my religious belief. I didnā€™t mean insane fundamentalist hyperchristian. What I actually meant was ā€œCatholic but if CUA starts mailing me Iā€™m going to get angry.ā€ </li>

<li>Lenoir-Rhyne University (been getting stuff from them since like sophomore year)</li>
<li>William and Mary (no idea why)</li>
<li>Appalachian State (dude, Iā€™ve already accepted and paid my deposit. Send me one more pamphlet and I might have to reconsider)</li>
<li>UNC-Greensboro (even after I confirmed I wasnā€™t enrolling)</li>
<li>UNC-Charlotte</li>
<li>UNC-Pembroke</li>
<li>Forsyth Tech (local CC)</li>
<li>Wake Forest (even AFTER they waitlisted and then rejected me. Plus, thatā€™s JUST what they need, more local applicants)</li>

<p>My S is finishing up his sophomore year in HS, but he has already received quite a bit. After he receives mail and glances through it, he gives it to me to ā€œfile it away.ā€ I would say that the schools I have seen most frequently are:

  1. Carnegie Mellon (he visited once so maybe thatā€™s why, though he has lost interest)
  2. Swarthmore (never visited and never interested)
  3. Brown, but just for the summer program (never visited and never interested)
  4. Columbia (never visited and never interested)
  5. Rice (visited and very interested, though not because of the mail)
  6. Chicago (never visited, but has become interested, in part because of the mail)</p>

<p>So the mailings have been annoying, but have not been completely useless.</p>

<p>I signed up for WUSTL mailing list and rarely get anything! Funny</p>

<p>Definitely I get a lot from UNT, random schools in Oklahoma saying they will send me an app, and art schools for which I have no interest.</p>
