Which scores should I submit?

Hi everyone,

I’m getting my college apps together, and have a bit of a dilemma. I took the SAT in June, and the ACT in September and October. I’m gonna send in my ACT scores (thought I did better this last time–fingers crossed!), but I’m not sure about my SAT scores…they’re pretty much identical to my ACT scores, but stronger in certain subjects and weaker in others. Which ones should I submit?

ACT:
30 Composite
34 Reading
27 Math
33 Writing
26 Science
9 Essay

(Hopefully better in October!)

SAT:
690 CR
630 M
640 W
8 Essay

Thanks for your insights!

I think ACT. Check the link below it’s a conversion table.

That’s what I had been thinking, although my 630 M on the SAT is better than my 27 on the ACT. Thoughts, anyone?

Send both and let the colleges decide. If they say they will take the highest scores, they will…

Alternatively, you could send one and wait to see what the Oct ACT results are and then decide whether to send the other.

As you point out, the scores are practically identical.

As things stand, no reason not to send both. Oct. result could change this.

I already submitted my ACT from September, which means I’ll have to send Oct. as well. I’m just trying to decide whether or not to send my SAT scores as well.

Sigh…

My sentiments exactly :/
