im new to the act, and i just got my score back:
composite 33
eng. 32
math 34
reading 33
science 32
which section is easiest to improve?

IMO, English is probably the easiest to improve. However, that composite score is good enough for any school, so I wouldn’t worry about it.

Also, it seems as if you’re pretty good at math. You could probably make sure you don’t make any silly mistakes on math and get that 36. Remember, two points on any section can mean one more composite point.

I think science is pretty easy to improve… it’s just common sense questions that you can infer from the passage, and as long as you understand it- it’s a easy 36

For you English, for me it was math… I bombed math (25), but my English was 34

I believe that english is the easiest to improve. My score jumped 9 points with a little studying.

I think science is easiest as well. If you’re in an AP or honors science class, your teacher should teach you how to understand graphs very well, and this in turn will allow you to do better on the science section. Really, it’s all logic and how well you can read/understand graphs.

I don’t think you really need to retake, there isn’t much to improve anywhere in your scores.

i dont think science is easy to improve at all. in my opinion, getting a question right vs wrong on the science section just depends on the arbitrary types of questions that you get that day, as opposed to how well you prepare for them. almost none of it is based on actual subject matter, so tis very difficult to study for it, taking an ap science class wont help at all. if you got a 32, you probably got like 4 wrong, and i think that even if you study its pretty easy to 4 wrong again just because of the nature of the section.

work on english/math, which are much more subject based. you can probably get those to 35+.
