<p>I was accepted into Brown’s Class of 2017, but unfortunately due to financial reasons, I could not attend the university. It was the only university that accepted me as well. Therefore, I have nowhere to go. Here are my choices and I hope you could give me some suggestions as to which is the better one or if you have other options, I would really appreciate it.</p>
<p>-Apply late enrolment to normal/less prestige university/community college.
-Apply spring term
-Take a gap year and do the whole thing again
-Apply to Australia where term starts in February or similar.</p>

<p>It looks like you are an international applicant. If you need aid, that will affect where you should apply. Do take a look at the lists of places that have significant merit-based aid that are posted at the top of the Financial Aid Forum. If you have the grades and exam scores for admission at Brown, some of those other places may have merit aid for you even if you are an international applicant.</p>
