What’s worse to schools:
A) stealing your best friend that you knew for who recently back stabbed, thus you stole with intent to get revenge, and with intention to give it back after they “learned their lesson” . but then it turns out you accidentally stole the wrong person’s stuff (calculator, water bottle, and some pencils). As soon as you realized it was the wrong person you stole stuff from you call them crying and tell them it was an accident, and give it back to them, but you getting caught on camera and get suspended anyways…
OR
B) stealing some random person’s stuff (calculator, water bottle, and some pencils) because you needed a calculator to take the SATs (you couldn’t afford one) and caught on camera is being suspended. (looks as though you intended to never give it back)
Either way you stole it and got suspended, but the intentions were different…
I don’t know why you or your friend would post about this situation, and then followup with this post. Both cases involve stealing. If the person couldn’t afford a calculator for the SAT, he or she could have asked a friend or someone nice in the math department.
Honestly, it looks as if you are surveying our answers to determine which of the two scenarios would be a better alibi. Stick with the truth; it’s best. The action was wrong, but you can make up for it. There are worse things to be suspended for, and I hope the guidance counselor will have some sympathy or at least be able to explain the conditions.
