Which subject should I drop?

Hello everyone. I have this predicament and I need your advice. You see, I have to drop either french or economics to take up biology in school (this is at the high school level by the way) and I need to know which would be the better choice to drop. I receive similar grades in both subjects and I like both of them (though I like french a little bit more). As a side note, french is my only foreign language. The thing is, I plan to apply after high school (to schools outside the US of course, also I am neither a citizen nor a PR of the US), so my high school subjects will be considered by the universities. So, which subject do you think dropping will have the lesser impact? Or does it not matter?

Thanks in advance.

Econ is the really easy answer for US colleges which prefer to see four years of the core academic subjects: math, english, history, science and foreign language. Dunno a thing about foreign colleges.

Drop econ, useless, unless business/econ is your passion. Any way, you could continue with econ at college, if you like. Any foreign language is much more usefull. And if you could place at higher foreign language at college, it could really boost your ability to communicate in that language. D. placed in 3rd year Spanish at college and had impressive skills after having just one semester.
