Which Subject Tests Should I Take?

Based on the following courses what three subject tests should I take in December?

Math:

 • Algebra 1 Honors
 • Geometry Honors
 • Algebra 2 Honors

Science:

 • Physical Science Honors
 • Integrated Science 2 Honors
 • Integrated Science 3 Honors
 • Chemistry Honors

Thank you!

well…from that technically Math I, Math II, and Chem…

are these courses you have finished? and also, i would never recommend that you take Math I, Math II, and Chem…haven’t u taken anything besides these classes?

how can you recommend that he take math 2…he hasn’t taken precalc yet

These are all my math and science classes from 9th-12th.

See, I have been to three different high schools, and everytime I moved they would put me on a new track, so everything is messed up. I wish I was in some AP science courses and Calc by now.

I recommend Chem and Math 1. If you remember physics, give it a shot I guess.

Willing to take language/any humanities? Having 3 all math and science might hurt…

Here are other classes that I have took or am taking now:

English:

 • English 1 Honors
 • English 2 Honors
 • AP English Lang.
 • AP English Lit.

Foreign Language

 • French 1
 • French 2
 • Spanish 1
 • Spanish 2

I don’t think I am strong enough in any foreign language to take a subject test in French or Spanish.

So, from all this, what 3 tests should I take?

Possibly literature? Which schools actually look for a literature subject test?

I wouldn’t be able to do any history tests, since I have not been in any AP history classes, and I don’t remember that much from when I took history two years ago.

if you are really strong in ap english, then go for literature, i hear it’s the hardest subject test though so make sure you know what you’re doing…schools look for you to take subject tests in subjects that you feel you have mastered, which leaves the door open for you to take any subject test (except if you’re applying to certain programs in engineering and whatnot that require math 2…or a med program that requires a science)
