which tax year is used for fafsa? Questions are asking for 2013's income??

I made 60k in 2013 and exactly $0 in 2014.

When I go to fill out fafsa application it asks only for 2013’s income?

Obviously I’d like to it to reflect current levels for maximum assistance, why won’t it let me?

Will a “2014 tax year” option become available after Jan 16th, the earliest date for tax filing?

You are probably using the older form. Make sure you are on 2015-16 FAFSA form.
