Which test should I work on improving?

<p>Hey all-</p>

<p>I’ve taken the SAT, ACT, and SAT Subject Tests each for the first time, and I plan on applying to Duke early admission. Here are my scores:</p>

<p>SAT: 2090
Critical Reading: 680
Math: 690
Writing 720</p>

<p>SAT II: (Duke takes 2)
Math IIC: 800
US History: 780</p>

<p>ACT:
English: 34
Math: 33
Reading: 31
Science: 27
Composite: 31</p>

<p>Assuming my GPA and extra-curriculars are strong enough to get into Duke Early Admission, which test (SAT or ACT) do you think I should focus on improving this summer? Be as specific as possible.</p>

<p>On a side note, the next ACT test date for me is late October. Duke’s early admission deadline is early November…will I be able to rush those scores to Duke?</p>

<p>I forgot to mention Duke will take either the SAT with the SAT 2, or the ACT alone</p>

<p>right now, your 2090 is better. not by much though. i say screw the ACT, try the SAT again. your SATII’s are great.</p>
