UCLA for premed all the way. The only negative to UCLA, is that only 60% graduate in 4 years. I money is an issue you may want to pick UNC CH or William and Mary. Plus, UCLA is in an amazing area. IF you want to stay on the east coast, pick UNC CH.

Dont know who the 27% are though… all my peers in the sciences left on a timely fashion.
@phospholipase I thought it was closer to 60% sorry… Still though, 73% is not the best, when comparing to other top public schools.
Note also that http://newsroom.ucla.edu/stories/uc-student-graduation-rates-hit-246210 says that the *12 quarter/i graduation rate is 81%. This means that there are some students who take a quarter off, extending their calendar time to graduation, but do not actually need extra school time to graduate.
The 13 quarter rate is 89%, so that means that a significant number of those who do not graduate in 12 quarters need just one extra quarter.
@iamlau: Are you aware it’s almost impossible for internationals to get into an American medical school?
As such, premed may not be a good choice.

How much in loans would you have to take for each university? What’s your parents’ budget?
