<p>Well, as a Colby alum, IMO there’s really only one choice … :)</p>
<p>As a Colgate alum, let me make a few pitches that will make you proud to have gone to Colgate.</p>
<p>When you read weather forecasts calling for 15 mph winds, 10 degrees windchill, and 2 feet of snow, you’ll just blink. </p>
<p>And when you’re 60 and have gray hairs and a kind woman at a tourist information office tells you that the hill up to a mansion is “quite steep” and you go and walk that “hill,” you just have to ask what she was talking about (true story- my professor was told this!).</p>
<p>So… the reason you’ll be proud to have gone to Colgate is that you’ll have survived a harrowing experience? ;)</p>
<p>The way I see it is that your “survived” is the poster’s “enriched”.</p>
<p>It also goes a way towards validating how her experience at Colgate enriched her life. Well done!</p>
