Which topic would be the strongest?

Which topic do you think would make the strongest essay, in terms of how much I could show about myself? I’m being kind of vague because I don’t want to go into too much detail on here haha sorry if its confusing!

-the change in how I view my friends/friendships

-the fact that I used to be really shy and now I’m not

-the fact that I used to be really dependent and now I’m not

-a program I’m in and how it changed my high school experience (back-up idea… really boring)

I have the most solid story for the one about friendship and relationships but I don’t know if that’s a weird topic.

Thanks!

It’s not the topic, it’s what you do with the topic.

Choose the topic that allows the most personal, detailed, honest and revealing essay.

I can’t offer an opinion as to which topic that might be. Truly, only you can decide that.

pick the essay that you can answer the following question about without even having to think about it.
What is you essay about?
What does this essay tell about you?
How would whatever you are telling about yourself add to a “artificial” community at a university?
that is what the admissions officers are going to be looking for. a special way you can fit into the community

-the change in how I view my friends/friendships

-the fact that I used to be really shy and now I’m not

-the fact that I used to be really dependent and now I’m not

these three combined have the potential for a great essay. I see them all as being related.

Thank you!

I’m doing a mixture of the insecurity one and the friendship one

I could tie in the dependence but I think that was a kind of different issue, whereas the insecurity/friendship go hand in hand! thanks!

I’m guessing that the shy thing has made the biggest impact on your life, so by writing about it, you’d probably get the most out about yourself.
