Which type of courses are generally involved with each branch of engineering?

I’m interested in taking up engineering as a major next fall in college, and I was wondering what types of courses you must take? Calculus? Physics?

Calc, physics, chemistry, and engineering courses. A difficult major so you better be prepared.

I believe some of the engineering majors would require atleast 1 semester of introductory computer science.

why not check out your school’s bulletin?

How important is prior knowledge of those subjects going into college? I’m currently taking Calculus right now, and my senioritis has me giving zero effort. As far as Physics and Chem, those were that type of class where you get an A, but basically learn nothing because the teacher was a moron. Should I reconsider going into engineering since I dont know much about those subjects?

You generally start with intro classes, so it’s helpful, but not required.
