Which type of engineering?

<p>I’m not quite positive what I want to major in in college, I know I want to be in engineering, but not sure what kind. Right now I’m looking closely at structural, but there’s also civil, architectural, aeronautical/aerospace, mechanical, and systems.</p>

<p>Difficulty of the job itself aside, which would be the best choice based on things like earning potential and enjoyability of the workplace?</p>

<p>Based on your criteria + your preference for structural engineering, I would say you go for ME, which has broader applicability than CE, AE.</p>
